Blowing our own trumpet
Well… only a little. It’s not nice to boast, but we’re proud of the work we do at Armshouse Group. We started out life helping people we worked with in the performing arts industry with side projects they had (which were often centred around their talents). They came to us because they knew that we were the technical type and could probably help them with computers and websites and all that geeky stuff.
As time passed, we ended up doing more and more and have had to expand our offerings significantly. It would be impossible for us to have every required skill in house (we’re not that big just yet) so we rely on a diverse and equally talented pool of freelancers and suppliers to collaborate with us and provide the solutions our clients demand.
We liaise and project manage on behalf of our clients and help them transform their ideas into a viable reality that will provide a return on their investments of time and money. We enjoy working with the go-it-alone individual as well as small business who are starting to outgrow their DIY approach and need some extra help.
If you like the thought of working with creative people doing creative things, then our clients will likely have a project which we could use your help with. Take a look around our site if you haven’t already and if you think your skills or services might be a good match, drop us a line and say hello.

Talented, with an eye for quality
Many of our clients come from the performing arts industries, as that’s where we too began. Lately, through word of mouth, our clients have become many and varied and have caused us to expand our offerings also.
We have helped dancers setting up their own dance schools, performers open their own venues, musicians setup websites for their bands as well as car dealers and chauffeur companies with their websites and social media efforts. We also work with larger clients who are seeking a fresh perspective to the regular agencies and consultants they’ve been used to.
Our clients are professionals in their field so you should also be a professional in yours. We enjoy working with go-it-alone individuals as well as small business who have outgrown their DIY workflow and need some extra help. Whilst we’re not snobby about our clients’ scale, we do qualify them all and choose only to work with those who are realistic about what is required on their part.

We don’t claim to be experts at everything, but chances are we know someone who has the skills to deliver the solution we’re after. Perhaps that could be you?
If you’re a freelancer who feels that your skills would be a good match for the work we do, we’d love to hear from you. We’ve hired photographers, sound engineers, web designers, programmers to help us with past projects and who knows what we’ll need next.
We take the headache out of negotiations as your fees will be covered by the overall project which we take ownership for. We liaise with you on behalf of the client, so you can talk to us without having to over simplify the technical jargon. We’ll keep you updated with the information and materials you need, saving you having to sift through a slew of emails which don’t apply to your contribution.
Freelancing isn’t easy and we expect that you work hard at what you do. As such, we won’t try and push you down on price so that we can make a cut from what you’re charging. We believe that you should be paid for the work you do and don’t entertain clients who ask for work on ‘spec’. Where we make exceptions, we’ll absorb the cost of that so that you don’t lose out.
Our clients sign agreements and you will also be provided with the same so that you know what your responsibilities are and what you can expect from us in return.
Drop us a line and say hello. If you’d like to attach a CV or link to your portfolio, we’d be pleased to review it and keep your details on file until such time that a suitable project presents itself.
The perfect blend
Of suppliers… not coffee (although we do like a good cup). Our clients don’t really want to sift through lots of websites to find which service provider, product or widget is right for them. It’s not that they’re not interested; they either can’t devote enough time or don’t have the technical knowledge to decipher the jargon.
Joining all those dots is something we like to do, so if you represent a company or service provider who has something neat to offer, we’d be happy to hear from you. Drop us a line and say hello, give us a link to your website or why don’t we meet for some of that coffee?
If we really like what you do, we’ll even include you on our ‘We Recommend‘ page.
